Qualifications
High School diploma or GED required
Must have a minimum 3 years of experience working with volunteers, recruiting and/or project management or other relevant type experience.
Must have excellent communication skills.
Strong ability to be flexible.
Ability to work evenings and Saturdays.
Ability to accept supervision and work with a team of co-workers.
Ability to organize work, set priorities, meet deadlines, and complete tasks with a minimum of direction.
Valid Driver's License.

Must pass The Salvation Army background checks and meet the MVR driver's qualifications.

Position Summary
Responsible for assisting the Corps with and managing the Christmas Kettle fundraising campaign.
This is a seasonal position, ending on or about December 24th, with a workweek expectation of up to 30 hours per week, including evenings and Saturdays, and this position is without benefits.

Supervising Kettle Workers
Assist Corps Officer with orientation for all kettle workers.
Hold daily meet/greet with Bell Ringers, setting the tone for the day and handle any housekeeping issues.
Discuss disciplinary problems with Office Manager or Corps Officers.
Assist with time sheets on paid kettle workers and drivers, if needed.
Daily Kettle Schedules:
Print kettle schedules for current day for kettle drivers.
Take calls regarding scheduled times and schedule conflicts
Deliver kettles to volunteers through out the day.
Greet volunteers when the schedule permits.
Organize drivers for Kettle Routes to deliver/pick up kettles as needed
Coordinate daily site checks through the day to ensure that workers are working.
Supervise drivers
Drive to the bank with a second person.
Additional Functions.
Fill in on routes as needed
Other duties assigned
Assists with supervising paid/volunteer kettle workers and drivers.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Salvation Army policies and applicable laws.
