Transit Driver - Non CDL

Namekagon Transit provides transit and para-transit services to Sawyer, Washburn, Barron and Southern Bayfield Counties.
We currently employ 25+ people and operate 20+ vehicles.
Our work environment includes: * Growth opportunities * On-the-job training * Safe work environment *Duties:* - Safely operate a company vehicle to transport goods and/or passengers to their designated locations - Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving - Load and unload cargo or passengers as required - Plan routes and navigate using GPS or maps to ensure timely and efficient deliveries - Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure proper functioning - Communicate with dispatch or supervisor regarding any issues or delays - Provide excellent customer service by being courteous and professional at all times *Requirements:* - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Must be at least 21 years old - Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) if required - Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and regulations - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and evenings if necessary Note: Previous experience as a driver is preferred but not required.
Training will be provided for the right candidate.
