Collaborate with engineers and technicians in the design and development of civil engineering projects.
Create and update technical drawings, models, and specifications using computer-aided drafting software.
Support the project management process by preparing documentation, including progress reports, proposals, and presentations.
Conduct research and analysis on various civil engineering topics, contributing to the development of innovative solutions.
Assist in performing calculations, simulations, and tests to ensure project feasibility and compliance with regulations.
Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines and objectives are met.
Attend team meetings, providing input and suggestions as necessary.
Conduct construction observation tasks, including monitoring construction activities, reviewing construction drawings, and communicating with contractors to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
Required Qualifications: Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Strong academic record with a strong understanding of relevant principles and theories.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software.
Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in drawings and calculations.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, showing initiative and actively contributing ideas.
Flexibility and adaptability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications: Previous internship or co-op experience in civil engineering or construction observation is preferred but not required.
